    Supplementary Notice I on Arbitration Services and Related Matters

    To implement the directives of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the governments of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen for preventing and controlling the outbreak of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus, effectively contain the epidemic, and better protect the health and safety of parties, representatives, arbitrators, and other participants of arbitration proceedings, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) issued the Notice on Arbitration Services and Related Matters During the Epidemic Prevention Period. In view of the latest development and the Notice of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province on the Reopening Dates of Businesses and Schools, the SCIA hereby issues the following supplementary notice:

    The SCIA will resume services on 3 February 2020, but on-site services will continue to be suspended until resumed on 10 February 2020 before which the offices at Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Zhongmin Times Square will be temporarily closed. Parties, representatives, arbitrators, and other arbitration participants may contact SCIA staff by telephone or email for such matters as case filing and remote hearing.
