SCIA's Decision on Extension of Relief Measures against COVID-19
To effectively cope with the Covid-19 Pandemic, and mitigate the financial burden of arbitral parties, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (“SCIA”) issued the SCIA's Decision on Arbitration Fees Reduction against COVID-19 and the SCIA's Special Decision on Arbitration Fees Reduction for Financial Arbitration Parties against COVID-19 in March and April 2022 respectively, making particular arrangements on the reduction of arbitration fees.The above-mentioned two Decisions will expire on 30 June 2022. Considering the current situation and in response to the concerns of arbitral parties, the SCIA hereby decides to extend the validity period of the above-mentioned two Decisions for another 6 months until 31 December 2022.
This Decision shall be interpreted by the SCIA.
