    Delegates from Ten Central Asia and South Asia Countries Visited SCIA Kashi Center

    On 31 October 2023, at the time when the State Council promulgated theFramework Plan for the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, nearly 40 representatives including chief justices, general attorneys, judges, prosecutors, judicial officials, arbitrators, lawyers and professors from 10 Central Asian and South Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan,, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh walked into the newly built Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration Kashi Center (hereinafter as the “SCIA Kashi Center”).The 40 delegates visited the hearing room facilities and the operation mechanism of this international cooperation platform.

    An Xin, Vice President of SCIA and President of SCIA Kashi Center, Chi Wenhui, Secretary General of SCIA Kashi Center, Chen Siwei, Deputy Secretary General of SCIA Kashi Center and other SCIA staffs communicated with representatives of the legal profession in Central Asia and South Asia, and shared ideas on deepening cooperation between China and the Central Asian and South Asian countries in respect of dispute resolution mechanism andrules innovations in  the Belt and Road.

    On the same day, more than 100 domestic legal professionals from all over China also paid a visit to SCIA Kashi Center.
