SCIA & SICAHK Dual Qualification Advanced training program in international commercial mediation

The 2024 SCIA & SCIAHK Dual Qualification Advanced Training Program in International Commercial Mediation, co-organized by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the South China International Arbitration Center (Hong Kong) (SCIAHK), will take place in Shenzhen, a city in Guangdong province, and Hong Kong from March 20 2024 to March 24 2024.

This training program will feature lectures delivered by internationally renowned mediation experts from various jurisdictions. Offering perspectives from the United States, Europe, Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR.The program will explore a diverse range of topics, including the 9/11 compensation mediation case, innovative practices in European commercial mediation, the litigation-mediation linkage mechanism in Hong Kong, analysis of classic mediation cases in civil and commercial disputes and practical mediation in international trade disputes at the Canton Fair. Utilizing interactive teaching methods such as role-playing, case studies, interactive simulations, and informal dinner discussions. The program aims to provide participants with a comprehensive and immersive theoretical and practical journey in international commercial mediation over the course of five days.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a completion certificate jointly issued by the SCIA and SCIAHK. Additionally, they will enjoy priority inclusion in the panel of recommended mediation experts by both institutions, and will be eligible to participate in mediation case hearings and mediation activities organized by the SCIA and SCIAHK.
