The Sixth Meeting of the Third Council of the SCIA is Held in Shenzhen

On March 1 2024, theShenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA)Third Council held its 6th meeting at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai Shenzhen. The meeting was chaired by Shen Sibao, Chairman of the SCIA Council, and deliberated ontopics including the SCIA’s 2023 work report, the 2023 financial statement, the 2024 financial budget report and the composition of the special committees of the Third Council.

The members of the Council unanimously agreed that SCIA should follow theOrdinance on the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, adhere to the new development concept on party autonomy, construct a new developmentlayout of “SCIA + SCIAHK, Connecting Hong Kong and Macao, Facing the GBA and the World,”promote the high-quality development of international arbitration in China, and build a world-class international arbitration institution with international credibility and global influence.

Council members Shen Sibao, Anthony Neoh, Liu Xiaochun, Roberto Azevêdo, William Blair,Guo Xiaohui, Huang Xianhui, Huang Yaying, Jiang Xiaowen,Elsie Leung, Liu Chunhua, Peter Malanczuk,Kwai Huen Wong, Zhao Hong (listed in alphabetic order by last name) attended the meeting.
