Seminar on Risk Prevention and Dispute Resolution for Listed Companies Under the New ‘Company Law’ Held in Shenzhen

On January 16 2024, a seminar on the topic of “Risk Prevention and Dispute Resolution for Listed Companies under the New Company Law” was held at the Futian headquarters of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) in a hybrid online and in person format. The lecture was co-organized by the SCIA and the China Association for Public Companies, and was co-hosted by the China (Shenzhen) Securities Arbitration Centre and the China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Arbitration Center, with the support of the Shenzhen Public Companies Association. As a member training event for both the China Association of Public Companies and the Shenzhen Public Companies Association, a total of 99 people attended the event in person, and 9,328 individuals joined the live broadcast online.

For this seminar, a special invitation was extended to Professor Zhu Ciyun, an arbitrator at SCIA, the Executive Vice President of the Commercial Law Research Society of the China Law Society, distinguished professor at the Law School of Shenzhen University, and a professor, doctoral supervisor, and honorary director of the Business Law Research Center at Tsinghua University Law School. Professor Zhu Ciyun delivered a lecture on topics including the corporate capital system, capital maintenance in operations, corporate governance rules, and measures for creditor protection in company law, and had discussions with the participants.
