PPP Experts Committee

On June 2, 2017, the "PPP Project Risk Prevention and Dispute Resolution Seminar and the Opening Ceremony of the South China International Arbitration Centre PPP Experts Committee" was held by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) in Shenzhen, and the PPP Expert Committee was officially established in the event. This was done because of the Belt and Road Initiative and the urban agglomeration development plan of the Greater Bay Area with the support of the State Ministry of Finance as well as the relevant development and reform offices, financial departments, and legal departments of the local governments (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong are also important node cities of the Belt and Road Initiative).

The PPP Experts Committee aims to actively respond to the relevant policies of the state on the promotion of PPP. It also wishes to provide professional exchange and cooperation mechanisms for public services, utilities, infrastructure construction, infrastructure investment, infrastructure financing, and the legal profession involved in PPP. Furthermore, the PPP Experts Committee desires to improve the legal study of the industry, provide theoretical support for legislation and judicial practice, enhance the confidence of investors, and promote a healthy development of PPP industries.
