The Mergers & Acquisition Dispute Resolution Centre
On May 14, 2018, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Resolution Centre jointly established the Mergers & Acquisition Dispute Resolution Centre in Shenzhen in order to strengthen the study of the M&A of listed companies; provide professional support for M&A legislation, supervision and judicature; resolve M&A disputes in a legal, efficient and harmonious manner; and promote smooth M&A mechanism in the capital market.
The Mergers & Acquisition Dispute Resolution Centre is the first professional platform in the domestic capital market that is specialized in the dispute resolution and study of M&A cases. The first experts committee was composed of 10 professionals with distinguished reputations in the industry and academia. This mainly included scholars from universities and senior practitioners from top law firms, securities companies and consulting companies.
